Our flagship initiative, the Elevate Teacher Residency, is a one-year, practice-based credentialing program designed for aspiring teachers who want to teach in Bay Area schools serving historically marginalized communities. Residents spend a full school year co-teaching alongside an experienced mentor teacher at a partner school in Richmond, Oakland, or Vallejo.

Biweekly cohort-based professional learning

Preliminary California teaching credential (Multiple, Single Subject or Ed Specialist)

Ongoing support to successfully complete the program and earn your teaching credential
