The Elevate Teacher Residency is a one-year teacher training program offering an innovative pathway into the teaching profession. Residents gain hands-on teaching experience, learn alongside a highly effective mentor teacher, and join a supportive learning community of passionate aspiring educators. The residency is a partnership between Elevate Teaching, Loyola Marymount University (LMU) and select partner schools (Caliber Public Schools, Education for Change, and Invictus Academy) committed to educational equity.

We recruit, train and support diverse, passionate educators

We recruit and train aspiring educators to become high performing PK, elementary, middle and high school teachers serving traditionally underserved communities.

Residents spend a year learning and co-teaching alongside an experienced mentor teacher while earning their teaching credential.
