Jen Moon Douglass is a passionate educator focused on supporting organizations’ talent strategy to ensure all students have access to an excellent education. She currently serves as Vice President, People and Culture at the New Teacher Center. Previously, she served as the Executive Director of Talent Acquisition and Staffing at San Francisco Unified School District where she oversaw the recruitment, selection and staffing for all employee units including paraeducators, teachers, administrators, and all Civil Service employees for the district of ~10,000 employees. In addition, Jen served as the Co-Acting Chief Human Resources Officer from 2020-2021 leading the HR Department as they prepared for students and staff to return to in-person learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to her work at SFUSD, she served in multiple roles at TNTP including Partner for almost 10 years where she served as a strategic consultant to school districts and charter school networks with a focus on teacher and leader talent pipeline projects. Jen received her B.A. and M.Ed. from Boston College in Early Childhood and Special Education. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two kids where they love to explore the city and the beautiful surrounding Bay Area together.
