Maren is a versatile and collaborative leader with over a decade of experience in behavioral health, educational, and professional development programming and optimization for non-profit organizations. With a strong focus on equity, feedback, and adult-learning principles, Maren has successfully partnered with stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes. Maren has been committed to developing and investing in employees and leadership initiatives at charter schools in both Arizona and California through coaching and program partnership with employee wellness and sustainability at the center. Maren transitioned to the field of Human Resources in 2023 to contribute on a larger scale to People Operations and Strategic Planning with keeping employee wellness and sustainability at the forefront of her advocacy. Maren brings a trauma-informed, empathetic approach to relationship building, wellness initiatives, emotional intelligence, restorative practices, crisis and organizational development interventions. Maren is committed to building high-trust teams and drawing upon diverse expertise to creatively solve complex challenges. Positive Psychology, Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing paired with JEDI+B Initiatives have been creative central drivers of Maren’s work, and will continue to be as she leads Talent Recruitment and Retention initiatives with Invictus Academy of Richmond.
